Panchkula, Aug. 17 -- The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Panchkula, celebrated Maharshi Charaka Jayanti on Monday with academic and cultural activities highlighting the enduring relevance of foundational Ayurvedic principles in modern medical practice.
Organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, the event was guided by NIA Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Sharma and Dean Prof. Gulab Chand Pamnani.
The celebration was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest Dr. Gaurav Garg, Deputy Medical Superintendent, and Prof. Prahlad Raghu.
