New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- The National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Skilling Initiative has recorded 60,253 applications and enrolments under its first phase, the Lok Sabha was informed on Wednesday.

In a written reply, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Dr L Murugan said the initiative is aimed at building foundational and industry-relevant AI capabilities among students.

As many as 4,620 participants have completed two modules of Phase I, while 552 participants have completed all four modules.

Phase I consists of four modules spread across two learning platforms, with a total duration of 33 hours. The first platform offers AI Essentials, focusing on practical AI skills to improve daily productivity...
