Saharanpur, June 11 -- Inspired by the spirit of patriotism from India's freedom struggle, the people of Chakwali village in Saharanpur have created 'Subhash Chandra Bose Bharat Sarovar', the country's first pond shaped like the map of India.

To beautify and modernise the site, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is undertaking a Rs 2.43 crore eco-tourism project at the site, with over 80 per cent work completed so far. An official said work is expected to be completed by the end of June.
