Ch. Sambhajinagar, May 9 -- AIMIM president and MP Asaduddin Owaisi today strongly objected to the action and cases registered in connection with the alleged religious conversion matter in Nashik, alleging that the issue was being presented in a "particular direction" and that a "media trial" had begun even before completion of the legal process.
During a press conference held in Ch. Sambhajinagar, he stated that the manner in which reports concerning Nida Khan were being circulated created an impression as though a verdict had already been delivered, despite the fact that only First Information Reports had so far been registered and investigation was still continuing.
