Nashik, Jan. 12 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a government guesthouse canteen operator and his son red-handed while accepting a bribe of two lakh rupees in exchange for securing anticipatory bail in a criminal case.
The bribe was reportedly being accepted on behalf of two Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) from the Mumbai Naka police station. A case has been registered against both police officers and the father-son duo in this matter.
The complainant, Ketan Bhaskarrao Pawar, has a case registered against him for assaulting and disabling an animal and attacking a government employee.
