Nashik, Sept. 22 -- A major development has emerged in the Dr Manisha Jejurkar suicide case in Nashik. The Nashik Sessions Court has remanded her husband, Dr Nilesh Jejurkar, and his colleague, Dr Swati Chavan, to 14 days of judicial custody on charges of abetment to suicide.
Both accused were produced before the court today.
Earlier, Dr Nilesh Jejurkar had been remanded to four days of police custody, while Dr Swati Chavan was granted one day of police custody.
Dr. Manisha Jejurkar (40), a well-known private Ayurveda practitioner, was found hanging inside her residence at the Revati Blue Apartments on Gangapur Road, Nashik, on March 6, 2026.
