Jammu, July 15 -- The Government Railway Police (GRP) Jammu has recovered opium worth lakhs from the possession of the three accused persons here.
An official spokesman on Wednesday said that under the 100 days Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan launched by the Lieutenant Government J&K, The GRP Jammu has recovered and seized 287 grams of Opium from the possession of three accused persons.
The accused persons are identified as Bishan Dev alias Bishnu of District Faridkot, Punjab, Vikas of Kapurthala, District Jalandhar, Punjab and Vishal of Mohalla Baghwala, District Jalandhar, Punjab.
The market value of contraband is more than Rs two lakh.
