Hyderabad, Aug. 10 -- Students of NALSAR University of Law have urged the varsity administration to reconsider inviting Chief Justice of India Surya Kant as the chief guest for its upcoming convocation, citing concerns over his reported remarks during proceedings on a petition relating to alleged police action against protesters.
Students from different batches, including the outgoing 2026 LLB and LLM batches, reportedly sent an email to the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and professors on July 23, requesting the university not to invite the CJI.
