Nagpur, June 25 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said Nagpur is set to emerge as a world-class international airport and a leading aviation hub of Central India following the takeover of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport by GMR Group for its development, modernization and operation.
Addressing the airport handover ceremony, Fadnavis said the project would usher in a new era of growth for the region by strengthening passenger and cargo connectivity, attracting aviation-linked industries and creating substantial employment opportunities.
