Nagpur/Pune, June 1 -- In a coordinated crackdown, police teams from Nagpur and Pune uncovered an alleged network involved in the unlawful trade of banned electronic cigarettes, seizing contraband valued at approximately Rs 16.56 lakh, officials said on Monday.

Based on credible intelligence inputs, law enforcement agencies carried out raids at multiple locations and confiscated a substantial quantity of prohibited e-cigarettes and associated products allegedly intended for illegal distribution.

According to police, the total value of the seized items has been estimated at Rs 16.56 lakh.
