Bengaluru, Aug. 26 -- Karnataka Minister B Nagendra on Wednesday dismissed reports of any discussion on his resignation, saying that he had received no call from Chief Minister DK Shivakumar's office and that the issue had not come up for discussion.

Speaking to the media, Nagendra said, "There has been no call from the Chief Minister's Office and there has been no discussion about my resignation."His clarification came amid mounting political pressure over the alleged misappropriation and illegal transfer of funds from the Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation and the demand for prosecution sanction against him.
