Dimapur, May 27 -- A six-member Committee on Environment and Climate Change of Nagaland Legislative Assembly conducted an official site visit at Pfutsero under Phek district to inspect and review matters relating to environmental management, developmental activities, and civic administration, an official statement said today.
As part of the visit, the committee, led by its chairman and MLA Achumbemo Kikon, inspected the Pfutsero Town Council dumping site to assess the existing waste management system and the environmental challenges associated with solid waste disposal in the area.
