Dimapur, May 16 -- In a move to provide affordable homes with sanitation and other basic essential services, the Nagaland government has opened a rental housing complex for the urban poor at Chumoukedima.
Nagaland adviser to the Urban Development & Municipal Affairs department, Zhaleo Rio, inaugurated the complex today.
Speaking on the occasion, Rio said the project was undertaken to provide affordable, dignified accommodation along with essential services for the economically weaker sections, migrant workers, and low-income groups.
