Dimapur, Oct. 25 -- Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today called upon the state's architects to be at the forefront of innovation and safety, noting that the state is situated in "Earthquake Zone 5."Addressing the 25th anniversary celebration of the Association of Nagaland Architects (ANA) in Chumoukedima, Rio emphasised that this reality demands "not just compliance, but ingenuity" from the profession. He urged architects to champion solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also "fundamentally, uncompromisingly safe."The Chief Minister also highlighted that the construction sector is the largest engine of employment in Nagaland, providing livelihoods and tremendous economic opportunities to thousands of youth.
