Dimapur, April 28 -- The National Health Mission (NHM), under the Nagaland health & family welfare department, has launched the 'ASHA Connect' App at the IDSP conference hall, directorate of health & family welfare, Kohima.
ASHA Connect is a web-based application to enhance the efficiency, transparency and accountability of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) incentive disbursement and performance monitoring across the State.
The implementation of ASHA Connect is expected to significantly reduce delays in incentive payments, improve transparency in financial transactions, enhance monitoring of ASHA activities, and to ensure availability of accurate real time data, thereby strengthening accountability across all levels.
