Dimapur, May 4 -- Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav today reviewed the welfare schemes and initiatives of the Social Welfare department, as well as monsoon preparedness in the state, at Lok Bhavan in Kohima.
During the meeting, director, social welfare, Tosheli Zhimomi presented a comprehensive overview of the key programmes and initiatives being implemented across the state.
The presentation highlighted major schemes under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, including Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya, and Mission Shakti, with a focus on nutrition, child protection, and women's empowerment.
