Patna, June 25 -- Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, on Thursday, paid tribute to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan on the anniversary of the Emergency, saying his struggle and movement against authoritarian rule inspired the nation to protect democracy.
Nadda offered floral tributes at the statue of Jayaprakash Narayan at the Women's Charkha Committee premises in Kadamkuan, Patna, and visited an exhibition showcasing the veteran leader's life, democratic ideals, and historic role in opposing the Emergency.
