Mumbai, Sept. 16 -- BJP National President Nitin Nabin and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday offered prayers at the famous Shri Siddhivinayak Temple and Lalbaugcha Raja here on the occasion of Ganeshotsav.
Nabin, who is on a one-day visit to Maharashtra, was warmly received by Mr Fadnavis on his arrival at the Mumbai airport. Minister Jaikumar Rawal, Mumbai BJP president and MLA Amit Satam, and Mayor Ritu Tawde were also present.
The BJP president and the Chief Minister first visited Siddhivinayak Temple and later proceeded to the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Ms Tawde also offered prayers at Lalbaugcha Raja for the happiness and prosperity of Mumbaikars.
