New Delhi, Sept. 6 -- Coming to the rescue of the people stranded due to heavy rains and flash floods in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi and Ramban districts, Northern Railway has announced two special local passenger train service between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK) and Sangaldan stations.
The local trains will run for five days, from September 8 to September 12, connecting key stations including Reasi, Bakkal, and Dugga, highly placed sources in the Ministry said. The move comes in the wake of badly hit road connectivity in the region due to continuous rainfall and landslides.
