Gayaji, May 31 -- Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing today offered special prayers at the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya amid stringent security arrangements.
Upon his arrival, the Myanmar President was received at the Gaya International Airport by Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and district in-charge minister Vijay Kumar Sinha.
Accompanied by senior Myanmar government officials and members of a high-level delegation, President Min Aung Hlaing performed rituals and offered prayers inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Mahabodhi Temple in accordance with Buddhist traditions.
