Aizawl, July 7 -- Tensions from the ongoing Myanmar conflict have spilled over into Mizoram, with four Myanmar nationals, including three members of the Chin National Defence Force (CNDF), drowning in the Tiau River along the Mizoram-Myanmar border while attempting to flee to India.
This incident occurred after CNDF personnel and their prisoners were forced to abandon their camp in Myanmar's Chin state, following a deadly attack by militants from the Chin National Army (CNA).
