Mumbai, Aug. 24 -- Maharashtra NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) president Shashikant Shinde launched a sharp attack on the ruling Mahayuti government, accusing it of internal divisions, polarizing tactics, administrative failures and attempts to create social divisions for political gains.

Shinde said Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange-Patil was dissatisfied with the government after several assurances remained unfulfilled. He alleged that the Mahayuti was deliberately attempting to drive a wedge between communities to strengthen its political position.
