Kolkata, July 13 -- West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh donned a new hat - that of a singer - with a song celebrating 'jhalmuri' (a spicy mix of puffed rice) that has turned into the state snack.
Known across Bengal as a fitness enthusiast who rarely misses his morning walks, Ghosh, Minister for Panchayat, Rural Development and Animal Resources Development, spent Monday morning as usual at New Town's Eco Park before heading to a recording studio near Chinar Park to lend his voice to the track, which is expected to be released shortly.
The song has been written and composed by artistes Lokesh Giri and his wife, Rimashree.
