Kolkata, Feb. 27 -- The cast and creators of "Jazz City", a period drama that revisits Kolkata during the upheavals of 1971, converged in the city on Friday to unveil the web series set to air from March 19.
Steeped in nostalgia, yet sharpened by political undercurrents, the series situates its narrative within a dimly lit jazz club, which emerges as a covert meeting ground where art, resistance and identity quietly intersect.
The ensemble further includes Bangladeshi actor Arifin Shuvoo, Shantanu Ghatak, Aniruddha Gupta, Sayandeep Sen, Shreya Bhattacharya, Shataf Figar, Alexandra Taylor and Amit Saha.
