Mumbai, Dec. 27 -- Mumbai commuters faced a tough time on Saturday as the western railway services got disrupted due to infrastructure work.
A whopping 296 local trains were cancelled on Saturday,with platforms 8 and 9 at Borivali closed, adding to the chaos. The disruption is part of a 30-day block for the sixth line upgrade between Bandra Terminus and Borivali .
According to details, 629 services are cancelled from Dec 27 to 29 which affected the routes from Borivali to Goregaon, with some trains operating only up to Goregaon.
