Mumbai, June 30 -- A student was killed and four others were injured on Tuesday afternoon after a roadside peepal tree got uprooted amid rains and fell on a school bus, in Mumbai's Chembur area, civic officials said.
The incident took place around 2:50 pm on Road No-11 in Chembur when the bus, carrying students of Universal School and Tilak Nagar School, was passing through the area. The deceased student was identified as 11-year-old Vihan Shrivastav.
All students on board were immediately evacuated.
