Mumbai, Aug. 26 -- Mumbai's water reserves continued its upward trend, with the city's seven major reservoirs reaching 95.83 per cent of their combined useful storage capacity as of 0600 hours on Wednesday.
According to the latest assessment by the Hydraulic Engineer's Department, the reservoirs are holding13,86,958 million litres (ML) of water against their aggregate useful capacity of 14,47,363 ML.
The cumulative stock registered a modest increase of around 1,511 ML over the preceding 24 hours, marginally improving from the 95.72 per cent level recorded on Tuesday.
