Mumbai, June 3 -- : The season's first spell of rain in Mumbai was accompanied by a road accident on the Eastern Freeway on Wednesday morning after a car reportedly lost control and crashed into a side railing near the tunnel exit between Chembur and Wadala. The incident led to temporary traffic congestion and renewed concerns over slippery road conditions during the onset of the monsoon season.

According to information shared on social media, a white Kia Seltos skidded near the tunnel exit and struck the roadside barrier.
