Mumbai, May 1 -- Marking Maharashtra Day, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the much-awaited Missing Link project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
The new link is expected to significantly reduce travel time and fuel consumption, allowing commuters to complete the Mumbai-Pune journey in nearly 90 minutes.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Sunetra Pawar, along with several ministers and senior officials, were present at the inauguration ceremony. Following the launch, Chief Minister Fadnavis personally drove on the newly opened stretch to review the project, accompanied by Eknath Shinde.
