Mumbai, July 13 -- Mumbai Police on Monday claimed to have found anti-national emails and international WhatsApp groups on the mobile phone of a Pune resident Faiyaz Premji arrested in connection with the alleged distribution of toxic capsules during the Moharram procession in Byculla area of south Mumbai last month.
Premji, was arrested by the Byculla Police on June 27. After his police custody ended, he was later sent to judicial custody by a local court.
According to police, a forensic check of Premji's mobile phone revealed several emails that are now being examined. Investigators also found contact numbers linked to Iran, Iraq and Oman, besides several international WhatsApp groups allegedly created by him. Technical experts are anal...
