Mumbai, Oct. 29 -- Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police have arrested Ravindra More, one of the prime accused in the Rs 2.88-crore fake government job scam, officials said today.

Earlier, he was questioned by the officials of the EOW in Mumbai crime branch office.

Later, he was arrested and was produced in the court this afternoon which remanded him into police custody for a week.

In the related development on October 10, the EOW had arrested fake IAS officer Nilesh Rathod (35), for allegedly posing as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and duping 50 job aspirants with false promises of government employment.
