Mumbai, July 16 -- Two men suffered head injuries after a violent scuffle broke out inside the luggage compartment of a Parel-Ambarnath suburban local train in the early hours of Wednesday, railway officials said.
According to officials, the incident occurred at around 12.30 am while the train was running on the Central Railway route. The two men allegedly got into an argument which quickly escalated into a physical fight inside the luggage coach.
During the scuffle, both sustained head injuries, leaving one of them bleeding profusely.
On receiving information, the train was attended at Kalyan railway station by personnel of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the Government Railway Police (GRP).
