Mumbai, July 29 -- The Mumbai Crime Branch will investigate a police complaint filed by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell over a viral audio clip allegedly offering a "special" examination centre to an engineering aspirant for Rs 12 lakh, a high ranking police officer said here on Wednesday.
The CET Cell lodged complaints with the State Cyber Cell and Azad Maidan Police Station on Monday after taking cognisance of the audio clip, whose authenticity has not been independently verified.
