Mumbai, July 21 -- Mumbai is expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall on Tuesday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting generally cloudy skies over the city and suburbs throughout the day.
The IMD has also warned of the possibility of very heavy rainfall at isolated places, accompanied by occasional gusty winds with speeds reaching 50-60 kmph.
According to official tide forecasts, a high tide of 3.64 metres is expected at 1653 hrs on Tuesday, followed by another high tide of 3.27 metres at 0557 hrs on Wednesday.
A low tide of 1.49 metres occurred at 2317 hrs on Monday, while the next low tide of 2.53 metres is expected at 1144 hrs on Tuesday.
