Pune, May 2 -- A day after the Mumbai-Pune Missing Link project was inaugurated, traffic movement on the route was largely smooth.

The Pune-bound section of the Missing Link, from Mumbai to Pune, has been opened and vehicles are moving without major issues.

However, the Missing Link lane from Pune-to-Mumbai remains closed for now. According to officials, the lane is expected to become operational within the next two to three days.

Motorists have expressed disappointment over not being able to use the Pune-to-Mumbai stretch of the Missing Link.

Traffic police were informing commuters that the Pune-to-Mumbai corridor remains shut.
