Lucknow, Nov. 5 -- Multiple entries for Form 6 has caused a big problem for the Election Commission of India ( ECI) in Uttar Pradesh.
According to UP CEO office here on Thursday eligible citizens apply for inclusion of their names in the electoral rolls of Assembly constituencies through online as well as offline modes.
"It has come to notice that when applicants submit Form-6 online, either themselves or through Common Service Centres (CSCs), they sometimes apply more than once if they do not receive the reference number on their mobile number. This is causing the problem of multiple entries. In this regard, guidelines have been issued to all District Election Officers to provide training to CSC operators."ECI said to prevent multiple en...
