Imphal, March 9 -- Manipur Police and security forces carried out a series of operations on Sunday, leading to the arrest of three individuals involved in insurgent and criminal activities across Imphal areas.
In the first incident, police arrested an active insurgent cadre from Prajatantra Galli at Thangal Bazar in Imphal West district.
In a separate operation, police apprehended a vehicle lifter while he was attempting to steal a two-wheeler parked at Paona Bazar.
The lock of the vehicle had been broken at the time of the arrest. Authorities recovered a mobile phone and incriminating tools, including a cutter and screwdriver, from his possession.
