Hyderabad, April 29 -- MTR Foods, a part of Orkla India, on Wednesday launched its Fresh Dosa Batter and Rice Rava Idli Batter in the Hyderabad market, expanding its breakfast product range.
Announcing the launch at a press conference, CEO Sunay Bhasin said the company is entering the fresh batter segment in the city for the first time, based on consumer preferences.
He noted that Hyderabad consumers prefer separate batters for dosa and idli, prompting the company to introduce two distinct products instead of a single batter.
The dosa batter is available in three pack sizes-425g priced at Rs 60, 850g at Rs 98, and 1.5kg at Rs 150. The rice rava idli batter comes in a 750g pack priced at Rs 98.
