Mumbai, July 27 -- Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has launched an inquiry into a complaint alleging a paper leak in the Drug Inspector recruitment examination after a fresh email claimed that the original complaint was false and filed to create grounds for a re-examination, official sources said on Monday.

The Drug Inspector recruitment examination was held offline on March 22. The results were announced on June 12, interviews were conducted from July 1-21, and the final selection list was published on July 22.

According to MPSC sources, the Commission received an email on July 23, a day after the final merit list was released, alleging that the examination paper had been leaked.
