Bhopal, July 20 -- The Dr Mohan Yadav-led BJP Government of Madhya Pradesh tabled the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill in the State Assembly in Bhopal on Monday, the first day of the five-day monsoon session.
Meanwhile, uproarious scenes were witnessed both outside and inside the Assembly on various issues.
Opposition Congress MLAs reached outside the Assembly wearing masks of MP CM Dr Mohan Yadav and union Agriculture Minister and former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
MP Assembly Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar charged that farmers of the state were facing numerous hardships, but neither the union Minister nor the CM was paying any attention or making any concrete efforts to resolve the problems.
