Bhopal, May 22 -- The Madhya Pradesh State Government on Friday officially handed over the investigation of the Twisha Sharma death case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The State Home Department issued a notification in this regard.
MP CM Dr Mohan Yadav had assured the parents and family members of deceased Twisha Sharma of giving over the case probe to the CBI on their demand when they had met the CM a couple of days ago.
In the notification issued in this regard, the government has proposed to transfer the investigation of the case registered at Katara Hills Police Station under Sections 80 (2), 85, 3 (5) of the Indian Penal Code, 2023, and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, regarding the dowry death incident...
