Bhopal, Dec. 19 -- Madhya Pradesh's Public Health and Family Welfare Department has taken stringent action in the case pertaining to recent transfusion of infected blood in Satna district.
The action is based on the preliminary inquiry report submitted by a seven-member state-level committee formed on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Ayushman Bharat, Chief Executive Officer and State Blood Donation Council Director Yogesh Bharsat.
The Satna district hospital's blood bank in-charge Devendra Patel, laboratory technicians Ram Bhai Tripathy and Nandlal Pande were suspended.
