Bhopal, June 14 -- Four passengers travelling in the Khajuraho-Udaipur Intercity train were run over by another train after they suddenly got out of their train onto the railway tracks in panic over a rumour of fire in it near Morena in Madhya Pradesh today evening.
According to railways officials, the incident occurred around 4.30 pm. The four passengers were killed after being hit by the Patalkot Express train coming on the adjacent track.
They had gotten off their train following a chain pull caused by a rumour of a fire onboard.
