Bhopal, May 27 -- A Court here today sent lawyer Samarth Singh to two-day remand of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), a day after the CBI formally initiated its probe in the case of suspicious death of Samarth's wife Twisha Sharma.
The Bhopal Police, which was investigating the case till now, produced Samarth Singh in the court today.
Samarth was already in remand of seven days with the Bhopal Police since 23 May.
Now, the CBI will interrogate him in connection with the high-profile case.
The Bhopal police informed the court that letters had been sent to telecom companies requesting preservation of Call Detail Records (CDR) and tower location data linked to the case.
