Bhopal, May 26 -- A team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) reached the house of retired judge Giribala Singh at Katara Hills locality in Bhopal today to launch its investigation into the death of her daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma (33).

The CBI team had arrived in Bhopal from New Delhi on Monday evening to take charge of the probe in the high-profile case.

On the demand of the deceased Twisha's parents a few days ago, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav had agreed to hand over the case to the CBI.

After visiting Giribala Singh's residence in the morning, the CBI team went to the Army Cantonment Kurushetra Mess in Shahjehanabad Area in the old city area of Bhopal to meet the family members of Twisha.
