Bhopal, April 7 -- The BJP-led state government today took several important decisions aimed at the holistic development of Madhya Pradesh and public welfare.

The decisions were taken at the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav in the State Secretariat here. To accelerate the state's progress, the government approved Rs 16,720 crore for various development works and important schemes. The meeting focused particularly on strengthening education, agriculture, irrigation, administrative reforms and infrastructure development.
