Bhopal, April 23 -- The Madhya Pradesh unit of the BJP today served a notice to party MLA from Pichhore, Pritam Lodhi, over his alleged controversial remarks against an IPS officer of the state.
According to sources, MP BJP Chief Hemant Khandelwal served the notice to Lodhi today, seeking his explanation in the matter within three days.
Lodhi had allegedly told Pichhore SDOP Ayush Jakhar that 'this place does not belong to your father'. Lodhi also said that officers must work in their limits and he added that "we also know the law".
The controversy erupted after Lodhi's son, Dinesh, had hit around four-five different people while driving his jeep rashly on 16 April.
