Kakinada, July 14 -- Former DRDO Chairman and Andhra Pradesh Government Advisor Dr G Sathish Reddy on Tuesday urged engineering students to move beyond classroom learning by actively engaging in research, developing problem-solving skills and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset to meet future technological challenges.
Addressing the valedictory session of OAK-2026 at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK), Dr Reddy said India was at a crucial stage in its journey towards becoming a global leader in science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
He asked students to cultivate dedication, creativity and a spirit of inquiry, saying innovation begins with curiosity and grows through persistence.
