Lucknow, July 23 -- A significant initiative has been taken to make the Social Welfare Department's schemes more effective, transparent, and technology-enabled in Uttar Pradesh.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the UP Social Welfare Department and the Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership (PFEL) here on Thursday.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Minister of State for Social Welfare (Independent Charge) Aseem Arun, Principal Secretary for Social Welfare Anurag Yadav, and Director for Social Welfare Sanjeev Singh. On this occasion, Piramal Foundation core team members Ghanshyam Soni and Aradhana Khaitan welcomed the guests by presenting saplings. Future action plans were also discussed.
