Varanasi, July 31 -- In a significant initiative towards the development of indigenous defence technologies in the country and accelerating the goal of a 'self-reliant India,' a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) and the Indian Navy.
The MoU was signed at Naval Headquarters in New Delhi. by Vice Admiral B. Shivakumar, AVSM, VSM, Controller of Materials (COM), Indian Navy, and Professor Rajesh Kumar, Dean (Research and Development), IIT (BHU).
